Return a product

We want every CHOUPA purchase to feel easy and risk-free. If you decide a product isn’t right for your business, you get a full 14 days to return it, unopened or opened, as long as it meets our return conditions.

How to return a product

At CHOUPA, we know from experience that running a business involves a lot of decisions, and we want you to feel confident in each one. That’s why we offer a full 14 days to return a product, unopened or opened, giving you the flexibility to try each item in your venue before making a final decision.

Below, we'll walk you through the steps for returning a CHOUPA product.

Register a return

Access your personal CHOUPA dashboard by entering the email you used at checkout. You don't need an account, we’ll send you a 6-digit code to log in securely. From your dashboard, you can register the product(s) you’d like to return.

 

Receive a return label

Once we’ve reviewed and approved your return request, we’ll send you a prepaid return label by email. Please note that the cost of the label will be deducted from your refund.

 

Return the product

Pack your product securely, preferably in the original packaging. Attach the return label, cover any old ones, and hand the parcel to the carrier shown on the return shipping label.

Conditions

Until we’ve received your return, it’s your responsibility — so pack it safely and keep your postal receipt. Returns must not exceed 20 kg and should preferably be sent back in the original packaging, or at least within the original shipping dimensions. Please attach the return label securely and cover or remove any old labels.

After your return

Once we’ve received your parcel in our warehouse, our team will carefully inspect the product and its packaging. If everything meets the return conditions, we’ll approve your return and start the refund process right away.

Refunds are always issued to the original payment method you used during checkout. Depending on your bank or payment provider, it may take 5–10 business days for the refund to appear in your account.

If there’s an issue with the returned item, such as damage, missing parts, or packaging that cannot be reused, we’ll reach out to you before finalizing the process. That way, you’re always kept in the loop.

Can I drop off a return in person?

No. At this time, we do not accept in-person returns. All returns must be shipped back to us via postal or courier services, following the instructions provided once your return has been approved.

Can I exchange an item?

Yes, exchanges are possible. However, the same return terms and conditions apply to the item you wish to send back. If you need the replacement quickly, we recommend placing a new order for the desired product instead of waiting for the return and validation process to be completed. This way, you won’t experience unnecessary delays.

Do you refund shipping costs?

No. Standard shipping costs are non-refundable. The only exception is if you received the wrong item or a damaged product; in those cases, we will cover the return shipping costs once the issue has been verified.

I have received a damaged product. What should I do?

We carefully prepare and ship each order, but sometimes issues can occur in transit. We’re truly sorry if your item arrived damaged, and we’ll make sure to resolve it quickly so you can enjoy your CHOUPA purchase without worry.

If you find that your product is defective, damaged, or you received the wrong item, please contact us immediately at returns@choupasigns.com. Include your proof of purchase along with clear photos or videos of the issue, so our team can evaluate the problem and arrange the right solution.

Did the damage occurred during unboxing or assembly?
Please contact us at returns@choupasigns.com with a description of what happened and supporting photos/videos. If possible, we will help by providing a replacement part or we’ll work with you to find another suitable solution.

How to contact CHOUPA?

If you have a question that is not answered in our FAQ, we are happy to help. Simply fill in the contact form on our website or use the chat bubble at the bottom of your screen. Our team will get back to you within 2 business days.

  1. Extra costs over the return shipping label or denied returns, are the responsibility of the customer. Extra costs will be deducted from the refund amount.
  2. A restocking fee of €12,00 will be deducted from the refund if the original packaging cannot be reused and/or if the return was sent back in non-original packaging.
  3. Products that are returned with stains, dirt, scratches, or other damage beyond what is considered reasonably necessary to inspect the item will not qualify for a refund. In such cases, the product will be sent back to the customer at their expense.
