Guarantee

We stand behind our products and want you to enjoy them in top condition. Every item is carefully crafted by skilled craftsmen, and we take pride in its quality. However, we understand that sometimes, things don’t go as planned and that’s where our warranty kicks in. Under European consumer law, you are covered for any lack of conformity that becomes apparent within two (2) years from delivery. Depending on your country, you may have additional rights.

General conditions

Our warranty terms may be updated from time to time. However, the version of the guarantee that applies to you is always the one that was in effect on the date you placed your order.

The guarantee period begins on the date your order is delivered to the delivery address you provided. From that day forward, the warranty remains valid for the full duration stated for your product.

Please keep your order confirmation or invoice in a safe place. This document serves as your proof of purchase and will be required in the event you wish to make a warranty claim. Without it, we may not be able to verify your purchase or process your request.

Acrylic products

We provide a two-year warranty on our acrylic pavement signs, acrylic menu holders, and acrylic table numbers. Below, we'll guide you through the full details of what is included in the guarantee, any limitations that apply, and step-by-step instructions on how to submit a claim if you ever need to rely on it.

What's covered

Our warranty is designed to protect you in cases where something is truly wrong due to a manufacturing defect. If your product develops cracks or breaks without any misuse, if joints, fixings, or connections are loose or defective, or if there is major misalignment that affects the functionality of the item, we will take responsibility. The same applies if your order arrives with severe surface damage or obvious defects, or if material issues arise such as abnormal yellowing, splitting, or corrosion.

In situations like these, we will, at our discretion, repair or replace the product, or if applicable, repair or replace only the defective part(s) of the product, at no additional cost to you. If the original product or part is no longer available, we will provide the closest available equivalent so you can continue to enjoy a fully functional product.

What's not covered

Our products are designed for durability, but normal wear and tear from everyday use is not considered a defect. Likewise, damage caused by accidents, misuse, drops, impacts, exposure to unsuitable cleaning agents, or the use of chemicals will not be covered under this guarantee.

The warranty also does not extend to any modifications or alterations carried out by the customer after purchase. Additionally, small surface variations such as tiny dents, ripples, or waves may occur as part of the hand-folding process of acrylic. These minor imperfections are a natural characteristic of the material and are not considered defects, but rather part of the uniqueness of each individual piece. Beyond this, potential sharp edges that may result from the manufacturing process of any acrylic product are likewise regarded as normal and are not covered under the guarantee.

Furthermore, damage resulting from the use of whiteboard markers on acrylic surfaces is not covered. While it may technically be possible to use such markers, repeated use of whiteboard markers on acrylic and/or the cleaning process can lead to staining or scratching of the acrylic, and this type of damage will be considered as misuse of the product and can therefore not be claimed under warranty.

Finally, vinyl stickers are not included in the warranty for the product they are supplied with. For example, if a pavement sign is sold together with a vinyl sticker, either pre-applied or separately provided, the warranty for the pavement sign does not extend to the sticker. Issues such as loosening, peeling, or other defects of the sticker itself are excluded from the product warranty. If you experience a problem with a vinyl sticker, please contact us directly and we will work with you to find an appropriate solution or provide a replacement sticker where possible.

Care instructions

To keep your acrylic products in their best condition, we recommend gentle cleaning only. Use a standard glass cleaner or a mild soap solution together with a soft, damp cloth to wipe the surface. Avoid paper towels, rough sponges, or any scrubbing materials, as these can leave scratches. Never use harsh chemicals, solvents, or abrasive cleaning agents, as they may cause staining, discoloration, or permanent surface damage.

For long-lasting clarity, always dry the product with a clean, soft microfiber cloth after cleaning. If your product includes vinyl stickers, please avoid excessive rubbing or the use of strong cleaning solutions directly on the sticker area, as this can shorten their lifespan.

With the right care, your acrylic products will maintain their professional look and durability for many years.

How to make a claim

If you discover a defect, you must notify us within a reasonable period after noticing it. A period of two months is always considered reasonable, but longer periods may also be acceptable depending on the circumstances.

What's your return policy?

You have 14 calendar days from the date your order is delivered to return your items. The cost of return shipping is normally the customer’s responsibility. However, if you received an incorrect item or a product that was damaged on arrival, we will cover the return costs in full. For all details, please see our complete return policy.

What's your shipping policy?

We offer standard shipping on all of our products, with delivery times depending on your location (usually 1-3 business days).

  1. Standard shipping (< 10 kg): 8,90 EUR
  2. Standard shipping (≥ 10 kg): 12,90 EUR
  3. Free shipping: Orders over 300,00 EUR ship free of charge.

Can I track my order?

Yes. Every Choupa order includes a Track & Trace code, which will be sent to your email once your order leaves our warehouse. This may take up to 2 business days after you place your order. If you don’t see the email in your inbox, please check your spam folder.

Do you offer spare parts?

We know that small pieces can sometimes go missing or wear out over time; like screws or rubber feet. Some of our products, such as our menu holders, are shipped with some extra parts included. At the moment we do not offer spare parts as standard, but if you ever need a replacement or additional part, please contact us and we will do our best to find a solution for you.
